With all the Healthy Choice dinners I bought, I am working my way through the different flavors.
For breakfast I had the Beef Tips Portobello (with gravy). It also comes with mashed potatoes, vegetable medley (carrots & broccoli), and for dessert caramel apple crisp. It had 300 calories, 8 grams of fat, and 600mg of sodium. The 80 calories worth of fat make up almost 27% of the total calories…ouch! Weight Watchers counts this as 6 points. It took 5 1/2 minutes of microwave time. The beef tips and mushrooms were pretty good, as were the mashed potatoes. The vegetables were bland, and got the usual sprinkling of Molly McButter. The caramel apple crisp was very good.
While I really liked the beef tips, I will probably pass on it in the future. The fat calorie percentage of 26.6% is just too high. There are plenty of other Healthy Choices with lower amounts of fat. I will stick with those.
