Yesterday when trying to figure out what to have for dinner, I decided that meatloaf would be good. I have made this recipe before, and it’s really good. It is supposed to be like Boston Market meatloaf. But I have never eaten the actual Boston Market meatloaf before, so I can’t say if it does or doesn’t. I just know it’s good. Anyway, I decided to multiply the recipe by four, and make four meatloafs. It’s not much harder to make four meatloafs than it is to make one. We ate one of the meat loafs for dinner, and froze the other three. Today, we will pull them out of the freezer, and try to seal them using the Foodsaver. Then we can have them for dinner later on! :)

Ingredients:
1 cup tomato sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons Kraft original barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 lbs 90% lean ground beef
6 tablespoons flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 dash garlic powder

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a small sauce pan, mix the tomato sauce, barbecue sauce and sugar. Heat on medium, stirring often. Remove from heat when mixture begins to bubble.
3. Set 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce mixture aside. Place the rest in large mixing bowl.
4. Mix ground beef in with the tomato sauce mixture using a large wooden spoon, your hands, or a potato masher.
5. Mix in the remaining ingredients (flour, salt, onion powder and ground pepper) with the ground beef, again using a large wooden spoon, your hands, or a potato masher.
6. Put the meatloaf mixture into a small loaf pan. If you have a meatloaf pan that allows the fat to drain away, this is even better. But a regular loaf pan will work.
7. Cover the pan with foil, and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven, remove the foil, and drain the fat. The more fat you can drain off, the better!
9. Leaving the meatloaf in the pan, slice it into eight slices using a knife.
10. Get the sauce that you set aside earlier, and pour over the top of the meatloaf in aline down the middle.
11. Bake the meatloaf for another 25-30 minutes.
12. Remove from the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes. Then serve.
